Meet Christina Glover, owner.
Hey you!
I want to say so much but I know that I have to narrow it down and just tell you a teeny bit about me. I am a Mama of three creative souls and my days are spent mostly with them, as I have taken on, bravely, the wonderful privilege of homeschooling.
My personality is very friendly and I am naturally very joyful. Art has been a part of my life forever and photography is the medium I love the most. Since 2009 I have been working with the most awesome families all over the Chicago land area to capture their most precious and special relationships, their bond with each other and I am so grateful to 'expose' your family's love for each other.
Artistic and candid
When I have my camera on you, I am not setting out to capture professional "posed" portraits (all though I will get some of those and have sessions for those who want to update their portraits) many people can do that. My goal is to create artistic images of you or your project in order to tell a story. I set out to capture your child(ren) or family and all of your wonderful attributes. Most notably, your bond.
With all of my experience I know what works and what doesn't. I go into sessions with an 'outline' and then when I begin shooting I use that along with the natural flow of the session to guide the shoot. My sessions are NOT long, grueling sessions of expecting children to behave a certain way and in fact, I want children to be who they are. I want you to be comfortable enough to be able to show your love for each other.
As a family you do not need any experience in any of this, I am here to offer you support and my experience. Just show up with your family and I will direct us for a wonderful session.
I love new projects and would love to hear about your creative ideas and concepts, to see if I am a good fit for your session or project.
I only take a limited amount of projects per month for the purpose of creativity and quality, I spent years upon years taking every project that came my way and as a result felt burnt out at times. It is for my client's benefit that I have narrowed my focus. You will get my attention, my creativity, and my expertise.
